Małgorzata Sławińska
CrossFit Level 3 Trainer · CrossFit Level 4 in progress · sports psychologist
I have coached others since 2017, and I have been at CrossFit Wilanów since 2023. People brought me to CrossFit: I went to one of the first CrossFit competitions in Poland as a spectator, knowing nobody, and the women there reached out to me straight away. The next week I was already training. At university I worked part-time at a front desk, then coached kids' classes, until a gap in the schedule needed covering… and before I knew it, ten years had passed and I am preparing for CrossFit Level 4. I was the first woman in Poland to earn the CrossFit Level 3 certificate. I graduated from the University of Physical Education (AWF), specialising in sports psychology. I coach CrossFit classes and personal training, in Polish and in English. I am strongest in gymnastics, powerlifting and general fitness. I most enjoy working with people who want to do something that once seemed impossible to them: from the first pull-up to a new personal record. Thanks to the CrossFit Adaptive and CrossFit Kids courses I also work with people with different needs and of every age. Outside the box I am a sports psychologist: I work with young athletes and their parents, run the MiniMental mental-training programme and co-author the parents' guide "Rodzic na zawodach" (A parent at the competition). I love running camps at our FITstodoła, and my passion is hosting and feeding people: the fuller the house, the better. I am happiest when I am among people.

My coaching philosophy
I train people to be fit. And to me, fitness is the ability to live independently, at a high level, at any age.
Values
- Authenticity: in the box I am myself.
- Quality: I care about the quality of every movement.
- Kindness: I approach people with kindness.
- Accessibility: I believe good training should be available to everyone.
- Commitment: I put everything into every session.
My standard
You can always count on safe, well-thought-out, quality training matched to what you can do, plus my attention, a conversation and understanding.
What I expect from the people I coach
Effort that matches what you can do on the day: not more, but not less either. Honesty: how you feel, what hurts, what you are afraid of. And patience with the process, because new skills come step by step.
How I teach
I talk a lot and I like to explain the “why”. I am curious what you think, I look for options that help you grow, and I fit the training to you, because I want to give you the best hour of your day. I break hard movements into progressions so everyone can take the next step safely, especially in gymnastics and lifting. I also teach you to notice small wins: after every session, name one thing you did better today, because confidence is built from concrete progress that you actually notice.
If the first session scares you
I know where you are, because I have been there. I did my first CrossFit workout with a plastic pipe, because I could not safely hold a barbell. I was embarrassed and didn’t want anyone to see it was my first time. But next to me was a wonderful coach (yes, it was Łukasz!) who made me feel looked after. Today I want to be that person for you. I like John Wooden’s definition: “Success is peace of mind, which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you made the effort to do the best of which you’re capable.” If you come and give it a try, you have already succeeded.
